About the project:

Using the topic of "good teaching" as an example, views from educational science and educational practice were discussed together with the help of an innovative workshop concept. In semi-standardized interviews, ten representatives each from the scientific community and from educational practice (teachers) were asked about their concepts, theories and views of what constitutes good teaching. Six months later, a workshop was held with around 50 people from both groups (scientific community and school practice), at which initial results from the transcriptions of the interviews and discussions were presented. Similarities and differences between the two perspectives were highlighted and specific challenges for a successful transfer into practice were identified. Discussions in the working groups referred to the topic of teaching quality and to the challenges of the exchange between educational research and school practice.
