Project description
Since the pandemic-related school closures at the latest, but even before, work with weekly or work plans has found its way into many schools in Germany. Based on the literature on this topic, a variety of (learning) goals can be pursued by working with weekly/work plans, whereby the independent learning of pupils in particular should benefit from this. The recommendations for their practical implementation are just as varied as the potential goals. However, how weekly/work plans are actually used in the classroom and what goals teachers pursue with them is still largely unknown.
This is where the project "Weekly/work plan work in the classroom" comes in. In a Germany-wide online survey, teachers from all schools were asked for information on the use of weekly/work plans in the classroom. We are interested in the experiences of teachers who use weekly/work plans as well as those who do not.
Our aim is to obtain as comprehensive a picture as possible of the use of weekly/work plans in Germany and to find out the reasons for and against their use from the point of view of teachers.
Duration
since June 2022
